For the past 12 years, The Vail Performing Arts Academy, a local non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, has developed quality performing arts opportunities in the Vail Valley for local students of all ages. We are proud that we have continued to raise the bar for our local young actors by offering them theater arts direction from some of the finest professionals in the business. VPAA also provides opportunities for students to perform at first class venues such as the Vilar Center. Most of all, VPAA provides camaraderie, self-confidence, creativity, and life skills our students take with them into their future.
The VPAA has made great strides by offering programs year round. Included are our annual Summer Production, a Fall You Can’t Stop The Beat Review, Holiday Performances, Broadway Field Trip, Student Spring Showcase , Starquest Talent Showcase, School Enrichments and more!
VPAA also gives back-, The Turn Tide Review raised over $6000, for the Red Cross Tsunami Relief , You Can’t Stop The Beat raised over $7000 for Katrina Relief, over $2000 for Vail Charitable Foundation, and spring 2007 our Artistic Director, Colin Meiring, traveled to Africa to teach workshops to Aids Orphans.
